Job Purpose Summary:
The maintenance engineer works closely with the maintenance planners, maintenance technicians, MRO IC and operation team to ensure stability and high-reliability on ZJG site equipment. Mainly responsibilities are:
•Provide suggestion in operation procedure (including pre-commissioning, commissioning and operation stages) of equipment. And also record information to provide baseline status of equipment.
•Suggest and support continuous improvement in equipment procedures and practices to meet regulation requirement.
•Provide technical support for maintenance technicians and other discipline engineers, and resolve every comprehensive problem of equipment.
•Be involved in analysis and investigation of equipment failure and accidents, accident treatment, lesson learn, provide basis for improving management level and equipment operation stability.
•Provide suggestion in maintenance procedures of rotation and PCE equipment.
•SAP use for equipment analysis & cost reporting.

Main responsibilities:
•Develops Maintenance Procedure Use Policy: 1) Performs technical reviews of procedures; 2) Serves as a technical resource during procedure creation and review to meet company and regulatory requirement 3) Creates and reviews job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure MOC’s.
•Serves as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations
•Serves as a reliability engineer to track/improve AMR performance for both plants
•As a facilitator leading GMISS evaluation and provide continuous improvement to management system.
•Delivers maintenance input into Thrive activities and acts as maintenance rep for capital projects.
•Develops site asset health strategy to meet Trinseo and regulation requirement.
•Performs regular field assessments of equipment and support TA activities.
•Collaborates with SMEs to develop work scopes and drive solutions.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:
•Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Applied Science
•Minimum Experience (years and type): 5 years
•Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: M&E experience from applicable majors, good at both spoken and written English
